This product is an ultra-slim active HDMI cable that uses high-strength glass fiber cable coated with stainless steel and Kevlar®. It adopts a ultra-fine diameter 3.8mm cable. Despite its thinness, the cable coating has a three-layer structure, with stainless steel in a spiral structure, military-grade Kevlar® used in bulletproof vests, and flexible and stretchable TPU covering the fiber optic and copper wire in that order. This unique structure has achieved excellent compression strength that can withstand a maximum of 2000N (204kgf) of pressure and a high tensile strength of up to 800N (81kgf). It can maintain the signal and function without damaging them even in places where the cable is often stepped on or pulled, such as at work sites or facilities.
AHS uses a hybrid configuration with OM3 standard fiber optic with extremely low loss for signal transmission and copper wire for other signal lines. With the low loss fiber optic, long distance transmission of up to 4K UHD@60 4:4:4 (maximum transmission bandwidth 18Gbps) signals is achieved without external power supply. In addition, HDR (High Dynamic Range), which can express more than 10 times the brightness harmony of the past, CEC, and HDCP are supported by signal transmission through copper wire. It can be widely used from high-quality home theater environments for connecting to AV receivers installed at a distance to broadcasting and editing work that requires 4K editing.
AHS, which is lightweight (about 300g for a length of 10m) compared to passive cables of the same length or conventional active cables (about 680g for a length of 10m), is easy to carry and it’s a soft cable (minimum allowable bending radius 38mm), so it reduces the burden on the sink equipment side connector when installing. The connector part is also ultra-compact design with a depth of only 30mm. It is smaller than conventional active cables. In addition, the connector case made of zinc alloy has a high-quality appearance and robust strength, and is also excellent in electromagnetic compatibility, resistant to interference from external noise, and minimizes noise generation from the main body. This product with features of sustaining ultra-high strength (pressure resistance 2000N, tensile resistance 800N), ultra-fine diameter (diameter 3.8mm), and noise-free over long distances (up to 30m), can be used in various scenes where connection errors due to cable disconnection must be avoided, such as home theaters, live events, video production studios, medical sites, distribution sites, FA equipment, embedded equipment, server rooms, and general conference rooms.

To achieve high quality signal transmission, AHS uses a hybrid configuration by adopting both OM3 standard optical fiber and copper wire. Compared to copper wire cables of the same length and conventional active cables (10m about 680g), it is lightweight (10m about 300g), and soft (minimum allowable bending radius 38mm).
In addition, the connector part is an ultra-compact design with a length of only 30 mm. It is smaller than conventional active cables and is ideal for use in wall-mounted equipment.
The connector housing made of zinc alloy material has a high-quality robust design, and also has excellent electromagnetic compatibility, which minimizes noise generation from the main unit and less interfered by external noise.
